LARGE MATTERPORT SCANNING CASE STUDY
To facilitate remote site-planning and global marketing for Japan’s premier MICE venue, Meidansha executed a massive 28,000 square meter Matterport 3D scanning project for the Kobe Convention Center. By fusing Matterport Pro series imagery with Leica LiDAR data, Meidansha delivered a millimetrically accurate operational digital twin and an interactive layout planning tool with zero operational downtime for the public facility.

Tasked with capturing an agricultural asset for the “Wagyu Olympics” under severe lighting and bio-security constraints, Meidansha partnered with Dentsu Live to pioneer an award-winning interactive content production piece. Combining 9-frame Sony α7R IV HDR photography, spatial soundscapes, and embedded documentary video, the final digital workspace earned a Digital Twin Awards 2022 nomination and established a new benchmark for experiential event marketing.
